Who are you here for? Those were the words that thousands of participants wore on their shirts at the 6th annual Dempsey Challenge held this past weekend in picturesque Lewiston, Maine. September 18th marked the 22nd annual Congressional Families Cancer Prevention Program’s Action for Cancer Awareness Awards Luncheon. The program’s signature event, held on Capitol Hill, recognizes the activities of congressional spouses, media representatives and other advocates for excellence in cancer education, awareness and prevention. The Prevent Cancer 5k Walk/Run crew is proud to root for a team that cares about prevention.
