As the largest event the Foundation hosts for the general public, the Prevent Cancer Foundation 5K™ exemplifies the Foundation’s mission by encouraging participants to exercise every day, eat a healthy diet and receive regular medical screenings.

Whether you are a Fortune 500 company or a mom and pop shop, the Prevent Cancer Foundation 5K™ has a sponsorship level for you.  Not in a position to give a monetary donation this year? Donations of services, food, water and other items are gladly accepted!

Individuals, families, youngsters, seniors, die-hard marathoners, and first time walkers from the Washington Metro area participate in the event.

Funds raised through the 5K will fund vital cancer prevention and early detection research, and our national education and community outreach. We welcome support from everyone and look forward to forging new relationships with both individuals and local and regional vendors.
