As part of my new job at the Prevent Cancer Foundation, I found myself introducing visitors to the Prevent Cancer Super Colon™ at the 5k Walk/Run on September 21. Nationals Park went “green” on September 21 with over 1,300 runners and walkers for the Prevent Cancer 5k Walk/Run. This year’s event was a smashing success thanks to our participants and over 85 teams who helped raise more than $235,000. 5 days and counting! This coming Sunday, September 21, marks the 6th annual Prevent Cancer 5k Walk/Run. The Prevent Cancer 5k Walk/Run is a family (and dog!) friendly event focused on promoting healthy living.
