Katherine Kennedy Announced as 5K Chairperson, Site Ready for Registration

The Prevent Cancer Foundation is pleased to announce that Katherine Kennedy, Director at Availor Philanthropy, has agreed to serve as the Foundation’s 2012 5K Walk committee chairperson. Last year her team “KK’s Cancer Kickers” raised more than $9,400 with 62 team members for the 2011 Prevent Cancer Foundation 5K event. She also chairs the Prevent Cancer Foundation’s Young Professionals group and will serve on the Foundation’s Board of Directors beginning later this month. We are excited to announce the results of the 2012 Colorectal Cancer Screening Saves Lives National Challenge. The first place winner is Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney, Nebraska. They will receive a $5,000 grant for their colorectal cancer awareness project and an exhibit stop from the Prevent Cancer Super Colon™.
