“Moderate” Crucial for Women’s Exercise

A team of researchers lead by Steriani Elavsky at Penn State University has found that women between the ages of 40 and 60 respond better to moderate rather than vigorous exercise. According to Elavsky, the group of women who exercised moderately were two-times more likely to feel energized, confident and willing to continue exercising in the future. Smokers Looking to Quit Can Benefit from Weight Training

A recent study found that smokers who participated in a three-month resistance training program had a higher success rate of quitting than those who merely watched informational health videos over the same time period.
